Our Story
Founded on the belief that every child
and young person deserves to thrive.
Reframe Learning was founded on the belief that every child and young person, regardless of their journey, has the right to thrive. We recognise that those who cannot access a traditional classroom deserve the opportunity to flourish in a setting that truly accommodates their needs.
We started Reframe Learning because we refused to accept that any young person should have to wait. That they had to stay at home while their peers advanced. That they should be labelled as problems rather than seen as bright, curious and full of potential.
We understood that creating a safe, meaningful and engaging environment would help young people to reconnect with learning at their own pace.
We firmly believe that the kitchen is the closest connection to a multi-sensory, real-world classroom.
"We refused to accept that any young person should have to wait."

PhD, RD
Dimple has spent her career at the intersection of food, health and children's wellbeing. A Registered Dietitian and Associate Senior Lecturer at London Metropolitan University since 2008, she has published research on childhood nutrition and the impact of inequality on children's health outcomes.
As a Specialist Dietitian, she worked directly with vulnerable young people and families, gaining first-hand insight into the nutritional and sensory challenges children with additional needs can face. That experience sits at the heart of how she approaches every session at Reframe Learning.
As a parent of a child with additional needs, she knows firsthand how much the right provision can mean. She believes every child deserves experiences that help them find their spark.
Deshna brings more than a decade of experience as a Partner and Chef at Mumbai Mix, alongside a background in business analysis. Her financial literacy, operational discipline and organisational thinking ensure children have the structured, purposeful environment they need to thrive.
Through community cooking classes, she has helped people from all backgrounds understand the stories behind their food — where it comes from and how small choices in the kitchen can make a real difference. She brings those same conversations to children at Reframe Learning.
Her goal is to help every child see that cooking is never just cooking. It is science, numeracy, literacy, geography, sustainability and life all at once.
Cooking is science, numeracy, literacy, geography, sustainability and life all at once.— Deshna Samani, Co-Founder
