Children handle vegetables with magnifying glasses and sort onto labelled plant-part mats.

Cut & Observe
Adult demonstrates safe cutting. Children observe inside and record on their sheet.

Cooking
Adult leads. Children observe each stage: raw → heating → softening. Simmer 20–25 minutes.
50–60 min
Recording
Children draw and label each vegetable, writing which plant part it comes from.
60–90 min
Blend, Eat & Plenary
Adult blends soup. Children eat, discuss, complete: 'We eat the ___ of a ___.'
