Safety is our
absolute priority.

The safety and well-being of every child and young person at Reframe Learning are our absolute, non-negotiable priorities. We operate in full compliance with statutory safeguarding requirements and follow the guidance set out in Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE).

Every decision we make, from whom we employ to how we structure our sessions, is guided by the safety and well-being of every child and young person in our care.

DBS Checks
Enhanced DBS for all staff
All staff, volunteers and regular visitors hold a current enhanced DBS certificate, completed before any individual begins work with Reframe Learning.
Safeguarding Training
Annual training for all staff
All staff receive safeguarding training appropriate to their role, updated annually. Our DSL and Deputy DSL hold advanced DSL training.
KCSIE Compliance
Reviewed every academic year
All staff confirm annually that they have read and understood Part 1 of Keeping Children Safe in Education. Our safeguarding policy is reviewed each academic year.
Risk Assessments
Personalised for every child
A personalised risk assessment is completed for every child before their placement begins, drawing on all relevant documentation provided by the LA and other agencies.
